Hsiao-Chiao Peng is an architectural designer based in Los Angeles, currently working as a Senior Designer at CallisonRTKL. Prior to pursuing a career in the United States, Hsiao-Chiao worked for multiple architecture firms in Asia such as RTKL, HWCD, and Kris Yao Artech. Her professional experience spans from commercial to aviation projects, equipping her with the prowess of seamlessly collaborating with international offices.

In 2021, she was the recipient of the Grand Prize in the Digital Evolution Lab of CallisonRTKL, highlighting her pursuit of constantly furthering her expertise in new technologies in the field of architecture and beyond. With a perennial interest for knowledge and experimentation, she has been developing personal projects exploring the capabilities of VR and AR technology, utilizing gaming engines for generating interactive platforms that challenge our visual perception and experience.

On top of that, she uses her capacity as an architectural designer to introduce new technologies within existing architectural workflows and challenge the norms of the traditional practice.

Hsiao-Chiao holds a degree in Architecture from Tunghai university (2012) and a post-professional Master's Degree in Architectural Technologies from SCI-Arc( 2017).
